Prep & Prime
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants such as wax, oils, grease, weld splatter, or loose mil/scale/rust. As a minimum, SSPC-SPC Hand Tool Cleaning or SSPC-SPC3 Machine Tool Cleaning is recommended. Smooth surfaces should be abraded to enhance adhesion. Improved performance can be achieved with SSPC-SPC Commercial Blast. All surfaces prepared for painting should be coated within 8 hours of completion of surface prep.
MasonryMay be used satisfactorily on these surfaces when proper surface preparation and priming is completed.
MetalNon-Ferrous: Must be treated with Galva Prep or similar type etching material.
Ferrous: Must have all mill scale, rust, dirt, grease, etc., removed. Prime with a suitable primer such as Ropon Primer, Ropon HS Primer, Barrier III, and Barrier III HS primer prior to topcoating.

This is a two component material, both A & B must be used. Ratio 5:1, pre-mix part A to insure all material is in suspension, then add part B and re-stir.
Spray Application recommended. May be brushed or rolled.
CONDITIONS: Do not apply when surface temps are expected to drop below 40 degrees F. or rise above 95 degrees F. during application and drying. Surface temperature must be at least 50 degrees F. above dew point. Do not apply to surfaces which will be exposed to rain or moisture before coating is dry.
