Basic UseAqua Master is superior to conventional spar varnishes because of its high resistance to chemicals, oils, and solvents. It is a hard, tough, UV resistant finish which resists repeated abuse by scuffing and abrasion. Designed for use on exterior or interior wood surfaces where the ultimate is required of a conventional varnish material.

Prep & Prime
Surfaces to be coated must be free of dirt, oil, mildew, excessive chalk and other foreign matter. remove loose paint and patch holes or cracks. Prime bare surfaces, dull or prime glossy surfaces, and then scuff sand using 80 to 100 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust.
WoodAll new wood should be sealed with 705100 Quick Dry Sanding Sealer and lightly sanded before applying finish coats. Porous wood such as mahogany, etc., should be grain filled with paste wood filler before sealing. Two finish coats as a minimum is recommended for best exterior performance.
Application
Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are expected to drop below 50º F. or rise above 95º F. during application and drying.
BrushUse a top quality natural bristle brush or nylon/polyester brush
Roller / PadUse 3/16" to 3/8" nap synthetic or lambswool roller cover.-Use a top quality synthetic pad.
Airless SprayUse equipment capable of constant 1850 psi at tip. An .013" to .107" tip orifice is recommended.
Conventional SprayDeVilbiss JGA gun or equivalent is recommended. Fluid pressure of 20 lbs.; atomizing pressure; 35 - 40 psi.
