Dry Times
At 77 degrees Fahrenheit and 50% Relative Humidity: Dry Fall paints are affected adversely by high humidity and lower temperatures.

Prep & Prime
Surfaces to be coated must be free of dirt, oil mildew, excessive chalk and other foreign matter. Remove loose paint and patch holes or cracks. Prime bare surfaces, dull or prime glossy surfaces, and then scuff sand using 80 to 100 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust.

| Concrete Block | Prime and fill with 501901x Sprayable Block Filler. |
| Masonry | Masonry must be thoroughly cured, with all traces of efflorescence removed prior to painting, prime with 501601x First Coat Primer. |
| Metal | All ferrous metal should be properly primed, it is important that the surface is dry, prior to painting with 7082xx Barrier III High Solids Metal Primer or 708195x All Purpose Rust Inhibitive Primer.
Non-Ferrous Metal: Should be primed with 501601x First Coat. |
| Wallboard | Self priming. |
| Wood | Must be dry and clean, self priming. |
