| Basic Use | THIS PRODUCT FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. An easily applied, multi-purpose, fast dry, lacquer resistant, phenolic modified alkyd primer. It is a valuable "lead and chromate free" maintenance primer because of its ability to replace a multitude of primers usually required to insure compatibility with various topcoats. This primer can be used over most old, well oxidized coatings without wrinkling or lifting; thereby, allowing for the possibility of upgrading present surfaces to a more chemical resistant system. It has good weathering characteristics to protect metal in storage, transit or during erection. Barrier II may be topcoated with a variety of finish coats such as, alkyds, epoxies, most coal tars, chlorinated rubber and emulsions. It has good weathering characteristics to protect metal in storage, transit or during erection. |
