Basic UsePremium quality alkyd/oil wood primer and sealer for use under latex, alkyd, or oil base paints. Good hiding, easy brushing, good adhesion, excellent mildew resistance and stain resistance. Particularly suitable for bleeding woods, such as redwood and cedar.

Prep & Prime
Surfaces to be coated must be free of dirt, oil, mildew, excessive chalk and other foreign matter. Remove loose paint and patch holes or cracks. Prime bare surfaces, dull or prime glossy surfaces, and then scuff sand using 80 to 100 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust.
MasonryNot intended for masonry surfaces, but may be used satisfactorily.
MetalNot intended for metal, but may be used over metallic surfaces that have been properly pre-primed.
WoodNew wood must be dry, clean and free of any loose material before painting. Surfaces being repainted must be free of all loose, scaling, peeling, heavily chalking material prior to repainting.
Application
Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are expected to drop below 50 degrees F. or rise above 95 degrees F. during application and drying.
BrushUse a top quality natural bristle brush or nylon/polyester brush
Roller / PadUse 1/4" to 3/4" nap synthetic roller cover.
Airless SprayUse an .011 to .019 tip and 1700 psi maximum.
Conventional SprayUse DeVilbiss JGA gun or equivalent. Fluid pressure of 10 psi and atomizing pressure of 30 - 35 psi.
