Basic Use For general purpose maintenance on tank exteriors, transmission towers, microware towers, metal buildings, structural steel and other metal, and masonry surfaces. Metal Master DTM is flash rust resistant on properly prepared surfaces.

Prep & Prime
Masonry Must be thoroughly cured before painting. Priming with 501601x First Coat Primer is recommended prior to topcoating.
Metal Must be thoroughly cleaned before painting. Remove chalk and old paint not tightly bonded to the surface. Clean all visible rust to bare metal. Smooth or shiny surfaces should be abraded to improve adhesion of the coating to the substrate.
Wood Not recommended
Application
Brush Use a top quality nylon/polyester brush .
Roller / Pad Use a top quality synthetic roller cover.
Airless Spray Equipment capable of maintaining constant 1800 psi at the tip. Use a .013" to .019" tip orifice.
Conventional Spray DeVilbiss JGA Gun or equivalent. Fluid pressure 25 - 30 psi; pressure 40 - 50 psi.
