Improved performance can be achieved with SSPC-SP6 Commercial Blast. All surfaces prepared for painting should be coated within 8 hours of completion of surface prep.
MasonryMust be thoroughly cured before painting. Priming with 501601x First Coat Primer is recommended prior to topcoating.
MetalMust be thoroughly cleaned before painting. Remove chalk and old paint not tightly bonded to the surface. Clean all visible rust to bare metal. Smooth or shiny surfaces should be abraded to improve adhesion of the coating to the substrate.
