|Description||MULTI MASTER DTM IS AN INTERIOR, EXTERIOR, WATERBORNE SINGLE COMPONENT, 100% ACRYLIC CROSSLINKING LATEX ENAMEL. IT IS DESIGNED FOR DIRECT TO METAL, PRIMED OR PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SUBSTRATES. THIS PRODUCT HAS EXCELLENT ADHESION, GLOSS AND COLOR RETENTION, LOW VOC'S LOW ODOR, AND CAN BE BRUSHED ROLLED AND SPRAYED. |

|Basic Use||For general purpose maintenance on tank exteriors, transmission towers, microwave towers, metal buildings, structural steel and other metal and masonry surfaces. Multi Master DTM is flash rust resistant,fast drying and bonds well making it an ideal coating to apply to properly prepared metal siding. Multi Master DTM contains a fungicide/mildewcide for protection against the growth of mold & mildew on the surface of the paint.|
Mix well before using. Keep containers sealed when not in use.

Prep & Prime
*All substrates must be clean & dry prior to application* Remove dirt, dust, oil & all other contaminants that could interfere with adhesion of the coating per SSPC SP1. Glossy, glazed, or shiny surfaces should be abraded using SSPC-SP2 or SP3 methods for moderate environments. For maximum performance, a sweep blast cleaning to a SSPC-SP7 Brush-Off Blast Standard is recommended to improve service life of the coating.
When priming factory finished siding such as Kynar, fluorocarbon, or baked polyester polymers the adhesion must be confirmed using test patches. Allow test patches one week of dry time before testing adhesion to ensure proper cure. Confirm using ASTM 3359 Method A X-Cut Tape Test method with results of 4A to 5A prior to proceeding with application. Contact your Rodda Paint representative with any questions.
|Concrete Block||Apply 501901x Sprayable Block Filler and allow to thoroughly dry before topcoating.|
|Masonry||Must be thoroughly cured before painting. Priming with 501601x First Coat Primer is recommended prior to topcoating.|
|Metal||Suggest minimum preparation of Hand Tool Cleaning per SSPC-SP2. Remove all grease & oil per Solvent Cleaning SSPC-SP1. Remove chalk & old paint not tightly bonded to the surface. Clean all visible rust to bare metal. Smooth or shiny surfaces should be abraded to improve adhesion of the coating to the substrate.|
|Wood||Priming with 501601x First Coat Primer is recommended prior to topcoating.|
Apply when substrate temperature is 50 degrees F. or above and expected to remain above 50 degrees F. for a minimum of 24 hours. Do not apply out doors if rain or dew is expected within 24 hours of completion.
Limitations: Not for immersion service or other continuous moisture exposure. Observe recommended film builds.
