Prep & Prime
New cementitious substrates may have high pH levels and should be tested before coating. If pH is above 8, prime with Rodda's First Coat primer.

| Concrete Block |
New Interior and Exterior: Should be filled with No. 501901x Sprayable Block Filler prior to painting for optimum moisture resistance. |
| Masonry |
Prime with 501801x Surfbond II, Rodda Paint's First Coat primer or 512301x pHlex-tite . Should be well cured and thoroughly clean before painting. |
| Metal |
Performs quite satisfactorily on properly primed ferrous metal and clean galvanized metal, such as gutters and down spouts. |

| Wood |
New wood should be primed with Rodda's 501601x First Coat prior to AC-909 finish coat. Surfaces to be repainted should be thoroughly clean prior to painting. |

A nylon/polyester brush is recommended for this project. |

Use 3/8" to 3/4" nap synthetic roller cover.-Use a synthetic pad. |

Recommend pressure 2000 to 2500 psi, using .015 to .21 tip orifice. |

Reduce up to one pint per gallon with water. Recommended air pressure 40-60 psi; fluid pressure 20 psi; tip size .0042" to .0045" with matching cap. |
