Basic UseFor decorating and protecting exterior concrete, stucco, plaster, cement, cinder block, wallboard, asbestos shingles, brick and wood. AC products will extend the paint season by allowing application down to an air and surface temperature of 35 degrees F/1 degrees C in dry conditions. Carries a 20 year warranty.

Prep & Prime
Surfaces to be coated must be free of dirt, oil, mildew, excessive chalk and other foreign matter. Remove loose paint and patch holes or cracks. Prime bare surfaces, dull or prime glossy surfaces, and then scuff sand using 80 to 100 grit sandpaer on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust.
New cemintitious substrates may have high pH levels and should be tested before coating. If pH is above 8, prime with Rodda First Coat primer.
Concrete BlockFill with 501901x Sprayable Smooth Block Filler.
MasonrySelf priming. Should be thoroughly cured and cleaned before painting. Surface must be free of all dirt, grease, efflorescence, form treatments, curing compounds and laitance. New concrete should be allowed to cure. Prime with 501801x Surfbond II, Rodda Paint's First Coat primer or 512301x pHlex-tite .
MetalNot designed for metal, but performs quite satisfactorily on properly primed ferrous metal and clean galvanized metal, such as gutters and down spouts.
WoodNew Wood: Should be primed with 501601x First Coat prior to AC-910 application.
Application
Before painting, make sure air, surface and paint temperature are above 35 degrees F. Do not paint if rain, snow or freezing temperatures are expected within 24 hours. Avoid application to surfaces exposed and heated from direct sunlight.
BrushA nylon/polyester brush is recommended for this project.
Roller / PadUse 3/8" to 1" nap synthetic roller cover.-Use a synthetic pad.
Airless SprayRecommend pressure 2000 to 2500 psi, using .015 to .21 tip.
HVLPReduce up to one pint per gallon with water. Accuspray 24K
Conventional SprayReduce up to one pint per gallon with water. Recommended air pressure 40-60 psi; fluid pressure 20 psi; tip size .0042" to .0045" with matching cap.
