Prep & Prime
Surfaces to be coated must be free of dirt, oil, mildew, excessive chalk and other foreign matter. Remove loose paint and patch holes or cracks. Prime bare surfaces, dull or prime glossy surfaces, and then scuff sand using 80 to 100 grit sandpaper on a hand sander. Remove all sanding dust.

| Masonry | Should be well cured and thoroughly clean before painting. Surface must be free of dirt, grease, efflorescence, form treatments, curing compounds, and laitance. Prime with 501801x Surfbond II Surface Conditioner. |
| Metal | Not designed for metal, but performs quite satisfactorily on properly primed ferrous metal and clean galvanized metal, such as gutters and down spouts. |

Application
Avoid application to surfaces exposed and heated from direct sunlight.Before painting, make sure air, surface and paint temperature are above 40 degrees F.
