Basic Use AC-911 Latex house paint is a 100% acrylic emulsion paint for all exterior surfaces. It has an attractive velvet flat finish which conceals surface blemishes and presents a smooth, even finish. AC Series products will extend the paint season by allowing application down to an air and surface temperature of 35º F/1º C in dry conditions. Carries a 25 year limited warranty.

Prep & Prime
New cementitious substrates may have high pH levels and should be tested before coating. If pH is above 8, prime with Rodda Paint's First Coat primer.
Concrete Block Fill with 501901x Sprayable Block Filler.
Masonry Prime with 501801x Surfbond II, Rodda Paint's First Coat primer or 512301x pHlex-tite . Should be well cured and thoroughly clean before painting.
Metal Performs quite satisfactorily on properly primed ferrous metal and clean galvanized metal, such as gutters and down spouts.
Wood New wood should be primed with Rodda Paint's 501601x First Coat Primer prior to AC-911 finish coat. Surfaces to be repainted should be thoroughly clean prior to painting.
Application
Avoid application to surfaces exposed and heated from direct sunlight.Before painting, make sure air, surface and paint temperature are above 35º F. Do not paint if rain, snow or freezinfg temperatures are expected within 24 hours. Avoid application to surfaces exposed and heated from direct sunlight.
Brush A nylon/polyester brush is recommended for this project.
Roller / Pad Use 3/8" to 1/2" nap synthetic roller cover.-Use a synthetic pad.
Airless Spray Recommend pressure 2000 to 2500 psi, using .015 to .21 tip.
HVLP Reduce up to one pint per gallon with water. Accuspray 24K
Conventional Spray Reduce up to one pint per gallon with water. Recommended air pressure 40-60 psi; fluid pressure 20 psi; tip size .0042" to .0045" with matching cap.
