Exterior Primers

First Coat (501601x)

The Cadillac of primers - this 100% acrylic, pigmented primer is versatile enough for interior and exterior projects as well as to spot prime or use on your entire project. It contains a rust inhibitor to tackle those pesky nail heads and even stands up to tannin if applied properly and allowed to dry thoroughly. Available readily for use on most substrates including; wood (bare or previously coated), masonry, hardboard, stucco, steel, aluminum, and more and it dries fast allowing you more paintable hours in a day.

Multi Prime (505901x)

A high quality and versatile 100% acrylic emulsion made for a variety of substrates in both interior and exterior applications. Manufactured in a deeptone base to be able to tint a primer for use under darker colors to save on applying extra finish coats to ensure coverage.

Sprayable Block Filler (501901x)

A low odor, heavy bodied, acrylic emulsion filler formulated to fill voids and seal pores providing a smooth surface for application of a finish coat. Product may be brushed, rolled, or sprayed and backrolled to ensure any voids be filled.

Surfbond II (501801x)

A transparent white specialty primer designed for use as a conditioner to enhance adhesion and resist efflorescence through topcoats over smooth, porous, fresh and weathered masonry.

Control Primer (701501x)

A slow dry alkyd primer sealer with excellent hide, easy brushability, good adhesion, excellent mildew and stain resistance for use on a variety of substrates. Great as a bleed control sealer for tannin strong woods such as cedar and redwood.
