Rodda All Purpose Metal Primer

User friendly, red oxide, oil based, ferrous metal primer for use on hand tool or machine tool cleaned steel in the field. Slower drying for better penetration into substrate. The flexible paint film expands and contracts with substrate to maintain excellent adhesion. Brush, roll, or spray apply. Rodda All Purpose Metal Primer contains zinc oxide for better rust resistance. Higher solids and VOC compliant. It meets the quality and performance standards as set forth by theMaster Painter Institute forMPI #23, Primer, Metal, Surface Tolerant.

Rodda Barrier III Metal Primer

A quick drying, solvent based, universal alkyd ferrous metal primer. When properly cured, this primer may be top coated with fast dry alkyds, water base or solvent base acrylics, epoxies or polyurethanes. In a thin film, Barrier III is a weldable primer. It is available in black, red oxide, gray, and off white to facilitate topcoat coverage. A Rodda Paint Benchmark Coating for over 40 years.

Rodda Barrier III High Solids Primer

A fast drying, high solids, low VOC rust inhibitive ferrous metal primer. Barrier III High Solids Primer exhibits excellent weld able characteristics in thin films. It is available in black, red oxide, off white, and gray to facilitate topcoat coverage. This product meets the performance and quality standards set forth by the Master Painter Institute for MPI 79, Primer, Alkyd, Anti-Corrosive for Metal.

Rodda P-80 Quick Drying Metal Primer

A quick-drying weldable ferrous metal primer (in a thin film of less than one mil DFT). When properly cured, this primer may be top coated with fast dry alkyds, water base or solvent base acrylics, epoxies, or polyurethanes. Available in gray or red oxide.

Rodda Metal Master Primer

A water reducible corrosion resistant coating for priming all exterior or interior properly prepared ferrous metal surfaces. Water based means low solvent emissions, fast dry, low odor, and easy cleanup with water. Available in gray, off white, black, or red oxide. This product meets the performance and quality standards set forth by Master Painter Institute for MPI 107, Rust Inhibitive Primer (Water Base).

Cloverdale ClovaPrime 21

A polyamide epoxy primer that provide excellent corrosion resistance over blasted or power tool cleaned steel. A low gloss flexible film when dry. Available in five gallon or one gallon kits in gray or red oxide. ClovaPrime 21 may be top coated with epoxies, urethanes, and water based acrylics. Alkyds may also be used if applied over the primer within the manufacturer's recommended alkyd recoat time. A low VOC product.

Cloverdale ClovaGuard

A low gloss high build polyamide epoxy coating that can be used as a primer or intermediate coat when sprayed. Available in a multitude of colors. This epoxy coating has good abrasion and chemical resistance. ClovaGuard may be top coated with epoxies, urethanes, and water base acrylics.

Alkyds may be used if applied over ClovaGuard within the recommended manufacturer's recoat time for an alkyd topcoat. This product meets the performance and quality standards set forth by Master Painter Institute for MPI 108, Epoxy, High Build, Low Gloss.

Cloverdale ClovaMastic

A modified catalyzed epoxy that may be used as a one coat maintenance coating when sprayed, or as an intermediate or finish coat. Available in a wide variety of colors. ClovaMastic is a surface tolerant, low sheen, high build epoxy mastic coating. It is also available in a low temperature cure product. ClovaMastic is a low VOC product.

Cloverdale ClovaPrime 55 Primer Surfacer

ClovaPrime 55 is a two part acrylic polyurethane primer surfacer for use on steel, fiberglass, properly prepared aluminum and factory finishes. It has fast dry to sand characteristics with good build. It also has good color and gloss holdout to the topcoat.

Rodda Galva-Cling

A solvent base acrylic primer for galvanized metal, tin, or similar non-porous surfaces. Galva-Cling will also perform well on fiberglass, ceramic tile, porcelain, or glass. Off white in color. Galva-Cling may be top coated with alkyds, acrylics, or polyurethanes when following manufacturer's recoat times.

Cloverdale ClovaBond

ClovaBond is a thin film non-ferrous metal primer to replace vinyl wash primer for pretreatment of metal. This product is 100% solvent base acrylic designed to provide adhesion to galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel and other non-ferrous substrates as approved by the manufacturer. ClovaCoat may be top coated with alkyds, acrylics, or polyurethanes when following the manufacturer’s recoat times.
